UACES 35 th Annual Conference and 10 th Research Conference - The European Union: Past and Future Enlargements

Organiser: The 2005 UACES conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb



Topics: UACES invites proposals for individual papers or for pre-organised panels of papers. We encourage
contributions from all academic disciplines, including law, economics, geography, history, sociology, social
policy and politics. Papers from established academics, practitioners and well-prepared postgraduate research
students are highly encouraged. The conference will look at past and future enlargements of the EU. As well as
research sessions, there will be keynote lectures and three plenary sessions which will focus on the key themes
of: Identity and Diversity, Enlarging Europe, Croatia, South Eastern Europe and the EU.
