Introduction

The Section for Political Behavior unites members who study classical issues of political sociology: electoral behavior, politicization of social structures, the impact of governmental policies on social relations, political psychology and commyunication, the behavior of parties and civil society organizations, etc. The Standing Group function as a workshop: it mainly discusses papers that have been cirvulated among participants. The principal aim is to support interdisciplinary research that has empirical underpinning.
 
Károly Bozsonyi got his PhD in 2002. He wrote his PhD thesis about the Mathamatican Theory of Collective Behaviour. Between 2001 and 2009 he was a „honorary” Associate Professor in Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He has been a Senior Lecturer in Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church since 2009. His main research fields are methodology, media research, spatial analysis, and polling research.
 
Zoltán Kmetty got his Sociology degree in 2006 in Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He has been a scholar student in ELTE Phd School since 2008, and he has been an assistent lecturer in Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church since 2009. His main research fields are methodology questions (data-fusion, inputations, weighting), network releated problems, and polling research.
